Last week's photo shoot was not our ordinary portrait session. We spent a great evening among tantilizing aromas and calming music at Vashelle's Restaraunt, right here at the Maquoketa Country Club. With an amazing menu of Italian food, plus burgers, chops and prime rib, Vashelle's is a great dining experience for anyone hungry! Their friendly staff add charm and warmth, making for a fantastic meal on any occasion. And, even though it's hard with food this enjoyable, you have to save room for dessert! Their famous chocolate cake comes in a huge slice with rich chocolate frosting...mmmm! Owners Keith & Vicki Haan have created a truly relaxing atmosphere perfect for a date out, family gathering, or a special night just because! We can't wait to go back and try each dish they serve, but until then, here's just a couple images to make your mouth water :-) We'll update here on the blog once their website is up and running so you can see all the wonderful food waiting for you at Vashelle's!

Sweet Isabel

What a fun time we had in the studio with Little Isabel! We had photographed her as a newborn and now, at almost 2 years, she is a bright, delightful, busy girl! We knew from the sparkle in her eyes when she was tiny that Isabel would be a go getter :) She loved playing with all the dress up hats and sitting in the rocking chair. I love her curly hair, and some of the faces she gave us were enough to have you in stitches!

Andrea + Eric ~ Married!

Last Saturday we were delighted to spend a gorgeous day photographing the beautiful wedding of Andrea & Eric. The first touch of fall was in the air with blue skies and mild temperatures. We loved the autumn colors Andrea selected for her bridesmaids and the groom's and groomsman's vests! Eric and Andrea's love for each other was touching during their ceremony and the reception that followed was filled with great food and fun dancing. It was a joy to share in their special day and we wish them all the best as newlyweds!!
