We've at last come to Christmas eve and are ready for a nice relaxing weekend at home with the family. We hope for each one of you a blessed Christmas filled with love and the people you hold dear!

We spent a beautiful afternoon photographing a terrific couple, Heidi & Brit. These two made it easy to create stunning images! It was also a special time since Heidi and I grew up together, doing of all things, photo shoots of each other when we were kids!

Julia

I had the pleasure of heading deep into the country to photograph sweet little Julia - what a doll! -  on their family farm. The weather was perfect and we just had the most fun dressing up and capturing all the beauty! Even the special family dog Ricky did so well for the portraits.

Meet the Photographers!

This will be a unique post, since the portraits this time are of us, Dwight & Beth Duckstein! We had a friend, who is also a photographer, run our camera for us while we got to try to pose and smile and all those other things we make all of you go through! Fall has been rainy and chilly, so we were glad to have a sunny day for our pictures. We hadn't counted on the wind, though! The boys had chattering teeth, so we kept it short, but here's the Duckstein family, on the other side of the camera for a change :) So here we are, Dwight & Beth, Phillip (4) and Jacob (2). We've been married 6 years come January and will celebrate our first year of living in Maquoketa in February. We really love the area and are amazed at all the wonderful things God had in store for us here!
