Faith Community Church Haiti Team 2009

Every year Faith Community Church in Maquoketa sends a team of willing individuals to Haiti. There they spend a week delivering the Word of God, medical aid, and food. Some even throw on their work belts to tackle construction projects. Haiti is their mission field this week and I can only imagine how their hearts are swelling with love and compassion for these people. The little I know of Haiti has shown me how spoiled I am living in rich America. May God work mightily through the team to a nation in need!

Dwight rolled out of bed at 2 AM Monday morning to capture their send off at the church. A four hour bus ride took the team to O'Hare airport where the headed to Haiti, arriving sometime on Monday. Just the beginning of a life changing week for so many people!

JCRHC 24th Annual Charity Golf Event

Dwight and I spent June 5th at the beautiful Bellevue golf course for the 24th Annual Jackson County Regional Heath Center's charity golf outing. It was a gorgeous day, lots of fun and a great time was had by all. We captured a group shot of each of the foursomes - here's a few of the other photos.

Hannah & Brice

We met with Hannah & Brice for some portraits at the Dubuque Arboretum at the end of May. A beautiful location for a beautiful couple! I've known Hannah for the past 15 years, so it was a fun and enjoyable time capturing her with her special friend, Brice. Here's a sneak peak of some of our favorites.
